Ripened On The Vine is my first book.  It is about unspeakable pain, unimaginable abuse with unending grace.  It is my life story and God’s plans for my life that changed me forever.  I pray when people begin to read my book that they will experience more than my life.  I pray they would experience living.

Living is not just going through the motions of breathing, it’s knowing the reality behind each breath, the purpose for which you live, and living in your purpose.

Ripened On The vine, March 3, 2002

This is a book for those who are without hope. Written as though the author is telling her story to the reader, one-on-one, it captures the despair and joy experienced by one human being.
While September 11th was an unthinkable national tragedy, many have experienced the collapse of their "own tower" before they even had a chance to begin their life's journey.
Ms. Davenport's story begins with trauma and ends with healing and wholeness. It is the story of one woman's life; of things out of her control, and the choices she made because of those things. It is a story of resurrection; a story of how hope and renewal can spring out of ashes and destruction.
Ms. Davenport is to be commended for her honesty. She gently guides the reader through the process of her own ripening on the vine.

What a wonderful book. Michele's story is one of sadness but how she delt with it by finding God's blessings was awesome. Once I started reading the book I didn't want to put it down. I reccomend this book to all. Weather you are searching for answers in your life or not, this is a very uplifting book and very spiritual. Enjoy.

I loved this book! Michele's story is one that will melt a heart of stone; and one that will start people on the road of healing. You will laugh; and you will cry! You will see God's hand in every aspect of Michele's life as you read her story. We have an awesome God! Thank you Michele for telling your story! Your story broke my heart; but you showed me how to let God sew it back together.

Ripened on the vine is an awesome testimony of God's faithfulness and love. If this woman could make it through the things she went through and allow God to turn what was meant for evil into good, there is hope for anyone! This book will inspire anyone, man or woman, who has had any difficulties previous in life to allow God to heal them and reveal His mighty plan for their life! This book will not only challenge your way of thinking about your past, but will also greatly encourage you to explore your incredible future with God! Thank you for sharing your life so that others may be healed!

There is nothing to big or to small for GOD!, May 1, 2001

This book is an awsome book on how God is faithful and true to the promises of His Word. The story was real and had true meaning. It isn't just a book on how God heals and delivers, but it is a story of Hope and how God is always there even when you don't think he is. In this book God always stays true to his promises according to his word. I call it "A Book of Hope", because if God can take Michele through the trials and tribulations that she had to endure, there has to be Hope for somebody out there that is going or has gone through the same things. This book will speak to those that are lost and show them that there is God and He can at anytime come and calm the storms in our lives if we will just let him. Awsome story and what an Awsome God we serve. Way to go Michele keep being obedient.
