Lori Michele Davenport is an Ordained Minister, Inspirational Speaker, Evangelist, Bible Teacher
Speaker, Author, Columnist, YouTube Podcaster and has been a featured guest on both Radio and
Television Talk Shows.
She received her Associates Degree in Theological Studies from Biblical Life College and Seminary
in Marshfield, MO.
Michele has been spiritually gifted for healing, prophecy and faith. She has spoken at churches,
positioned as a Keynote Speaker for women’s conferences and women & retreats. She has personally
authored five books.* Her passion is studying the Bible and creating cherished memories for her
family. Michele is warm, funny, bright, willing and obedient.
Born in 1965, Michele endured mental, physical and sexual assault for most of her adolescent and
teen years. She was molested at the age of eleven, raped at the age of seventeen, mentally and
physically abused by men she dated. Michele's brother was tragically killed when she was sixteen
years of age. Yet, another devastating loss in a long list of emotional blows. Through the many
disappointments, she has clung to the knowledge she acquired about her loving, faithful God.
In 1985 Michele met Marty L. Davenport and they married in 1987. They soon realized that for their
marriage to work they needed a relationship with their Creator and less influence of others. Two
years into their marriage Marty and Michele dedicated their life to the Lord. They have been married
for 33 years, parents to 2 daughters, Whitney and Dakota, 2 son-in-laws, Wade and Kody, and 4
grandbabies… Kaden, Atlas, Micah, and Kacie .
After the death of Michele's biological dad in 1996, Michele accepted the responsibility of her calling
to preach the Word of God. From that moment on, God orchestrated everything in her life and family
to fit His perfect plan. Her life filled with “faith builders” which helped to ground her faith and
inevitably became the name for her ministry.
Michele and Marty are the Co-Founders of Faith Builders Ministry. The ministry purpose of Faith
Builders is responsive to anyone that believes they have reason to give up, give in, or give out before
their race is finished. Faith Builders Ministry is for all of God’s people, not only the hurting, sick, or
defeated. ALL means ALL.
Michele entered full-time ministry in 2002 and began teaching the Word of God to the congregations
of River Church, Our Fathers House and Eagle Mountain Ladies Bible Class of Kenneth Copeland
Ministries, She taught for two years in the women's ministry at Church of the Harvest in Olathe, Ks,
as well as the many opportunities afforded to her by Belton Assembly of God in Belton Mo. Both she
and Marty served together as Altar Prayer Ministers at Eagle Mountain International Church.
God's love and forgiveness has inspired Marty and Michele to forgive without ceasing and to love
without condition. Michele demonstrates the joy of the Lord everywhere she goes. Her excitement
about God is heard throughout the words God has given her to speak. Her desire is simple….to
inspire God’s people to intimacy with their Heavenly Father.
