Words of Wisdom
Words of Wisdom
One day as I was sitting, before the Lord, He began to give me Proverbs. As I wrote them down I realized they were for others as well as myself. I pray you discover a part of the Lord you may have not seen before through His encouraging words.
(1.) If you are talking, God is listening. Take care of words spoken in idleness.
(2.) Faith has a mouth.
(3.) Is your truth really a lie disguised in honest apparel?
(4.) If your yes is yes, how come your actions resemble no?
(5.) Love has a face that forgiveness wears.
(6.) Hope is expecting faith to open the door.
(7.) Choices are for the living.
(8.) There is an intellectual trinity: knowledge, wisdom, and understanding.
(9.) Spiritual adultery sleeps with lust.
(10.) What you seek has never been lost.
(11.) Sin sings a song of self.
(12.) Being saved means exactly that.
(13.) To be spiritually unclothed means to be stripped of God.
(14.) The time is now, but most of us are still waiting on yesterday while others are living tomorrow today.
(15.) An excuse is a guilty conscience.
(16.) Are you on a scavenger hunt for your gifts?
(17.) If a clock had an end, would you be at the middle or the beginning?
(18.) Do not jump into the depths of the sea you may come out drenched in sin.
(19.) God has an absolute scale.
(20.) A true masterpiece is what God created when He created you.
(21.) Are you living up to whatever you have attained?
(22.) What you put your mind on will be a pedestal for your heart.
(23.) God gave us legs so we could walk in the word, a mouth so we could speak the word, hands to do the word.
(24.) Can you really live a life in the spirit while inhaling the world of deceit?
(25.) Can you sit on the fence of uncertainty, while standing firm on the unknown?
(26.) You can have hope in faith; you cannot have your faith in hope.
(27.) Indecision is wavering.
(28.) A priceless collection is a collection of faith.
(29.) Whatever is hidden God will reveal.
(30.) Consider temptation an opportunity to grow in resistance.
(31.) If your life were a play, would you know the script?
(32.) Deception hides the truth, but the truth always finds deception.
(33.) Faith builders are the stepping-stones to our Fathers heart.
(34.) Deception hides behind garments of truth, truth eventually undresses deception.
(35.) Putting things off until tomorrow only encourages a hundred regrets of yesterdays.
(36.) One word spoken from my God is worth a thousand spoken from anyone else.
(37.) Ignorance makes you vulnerable to deception.
(38.) Silent doubt rarely finds answers.
(39.) Doubting leaves room for rejection.
(40.) Obedience stems from trust.
(41.) Can a light shine in a room with no windows and no way to let the darkness out?
